Adelya Seyitova is a junior student of the Economics department. Having once experienced the challenges of adjusting to university life herself, she is motivated to help freshmen feel supported and confident as they begin their academic journey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and hiking, and she is always happy to share these interests with others. Her main reason for becoming a Peer advisor is that she remembers how difficult her own first semester felt, and she wants to make the transition easier for freshmen. She hopes to help new students feel welcomed, supported, and connected to AUCA from the very beginning.

ADEMI AKYLBEKOVA

Major in Business Administration, BA-123

鈥淓verything is worth trying, do your best, and the rest will be given by God"

Ademi Akylbekova is a junior student of the Business Administration department. She is passionate about baking (though she does not eat sugar) and handiwork. She is also a beginner in running but has already completed two races and earned two medals. Ademi loves numbers, fall, lattes, and kittens.

She appreciates the role of peer advisors in helping new students adapt to university life. Since it was difficult for her in her freshman year to get acquainted with the university, offices, courses, and instructors, she wants to do her best to ensure that students and advisees do not face the same problems.

Akbar Aitemirov is a junior student of the International and Business Law department. He enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds and tries to create an academic environment where everyone can learn something new from each other.

Akbar is a peer advisor to support students with academic questions, share the knowledge and experience he has gained over the past few years, and just talk to the students if they want to.听

ALINA ABASOVA

Alina Abasova is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. She is good at math and knows how to listen, which is why she is a WARC tutor. Alina enjoys active sports such as hiking and biking, although nowadays she has little time for them. Alongside sports, she likes all types of games: board games, computer games, phone games, and more.

"What do you think you know and why do you think you know it?鈥�

Arlen Seitaliev is a junior student of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department. He is an introvert and prefers to chat rather than hang out in unfamiliar company. He spends most of his time studying, playing video games, or reading manga. In general, he is interested in popular science topics. Arlen enjoys helping students navigate both academic and personal challenges. When he was a first-year student, his own peer advisors supported him, encouraged him, and showed him how to adapt to university life. Becoming a peer advisor feels like a way for him to give back and honor the guidance he once received.

Begaim Dzhandaeva is a junior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department, double-majoring in European Studies and International and Business Law. She is interested in art, history, and the culture of Kyrgyzstan and Europe. Begaim adores the movie 鈥淭he Devil Wears Prada鈥� and loves reading books by Dan Brown.

She really enjoys making schedules for subjects. Since she is pursuing a double major, Begaim would like to utilize her experience in creating schedules to help others.

Ikbol Allakhunov is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. He is a motivated student who values learning, growth, and teamwork. He enjoys helping others succeed and believes in building a supportive academic community.

His main reason for being a peer advisor is to support fellow students by sharing his experience and helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. Ikbol also wants to contribute to creating a welcoming and encouraging environment where everyone can feel confident.

KLARA ALYMBAEVA

Klara Alymbaeva is a junior student of the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science department, minoring in International and Comparative Politics. Her interests include sustainability, history, and politics, and she has participated in several programs and implemented community projects. She believes in empowering young people to build resilient communities and a sustainable future. Her main reason for being a peer advisor is to help students organize their schedules most effectively. Anything that involves human interaction and communication is welcomed by her.

Nagima Arapova is a sophomore student of the International and Business Law department. She has a wide range of interests: from lectures and volunteering to reading, traveling, exploring fashion, and enjoying cozy moments with her loved ones. She is drawn to the new and unusual and tries to find inspiration and little adventures every day. Nagima knows firsthand how meaningful it is to receive guidance and support when you need it most. Helping others gives her joy and allows her to connect with people. As a peer advisor, she would like to be actively involved in the activities of the Advising Center.

Nahida Qasimi is a junior student of the Psychology department, majoring in International and Comparative Politics. She has led youth leadership and community projects supported by the U.S. Embassy, served in AUCA鈥檚 Student Senate, and worked in cross-cultural programs abroad. Passionate about mental health, diplomacy, and sustainable development, she aims to bridge psychology and international relations in her future career. As a peer advisor, she wants to support fellow students鈥� academic success and well-being by sharing practical study strategies and offering a listening ear. Nahida would also like to be involved in the Advising Center鈥檚 activities by supporting workshops, mentoring students one-on-one, and helping to create resources that make academic life easier and more engaging.

Nisso Navruzshoyeva is a junior student of the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science department with a minor in Economics. Beyond academics, she enjoys painting, tea culture, and exploring new ideas through clubs and conferences at AUCA. Her passion lies in sustainability and community work, but she also loves creating spaces where people can connect, learn, and support one another. She believes that curiosity and kindness go a long way in both studying and life. Her main reason for becoming a Peer Advisor is to support fellow students by sharing her experiences, helping them adapt, and guiding them through challenges. She wants to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to achieve their goals. Nuraiym Asanova is a sophomore student of the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science department. She is a reflective and curious person who connects nature, education, and ideas. She loves challenging herself either through writing essays, learning, or even running. She sees herself as a person who loves sharing her experiences with others and finds joy in helping people to grow and feel more confident about themselves. As a peer advisor, she would like to be involved in the activities of the Advising Center by helping other students discover opportunities to grow, develop, and learn. This would also enable her to continue developing her own skills and contribute to the student community.

RUHSANEM BAKIEVA

Double major in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Social Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking and Business Administration, LAS-SE-123

"Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer"听

Ruhsanem Bakieva听is a junior student majoring in听Liberal Arts and Sciences (Social Entrepreneurship)听and pursuing a听second major in Business Administration. She is a highly creative student with a strong interest in learning, literature, music, and artistic expression, and she is deeply motivated by educating others and helping people discover new perspectives.

Ruhsanem is an听outstanding student, a听winner of the Republican Olympiad in Russian Language, and a听Gold Certificate recipient, which allowed her to study听tuition-free at AUCA. Continuing to demonstrate academic excellence, she has also been recognized as a听Dean鈥檚 List awardee. Her strong academic performance led to her participation in an听international exchange program at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson.

With听three years of tutoring experience, Ruhsanem has developed a strong ability to understand students鈥� challenges, identify problems, and offer effective, supportive solutions. For the past听two years, she has also worked as a听peer advisor, helping students with academic planning and supporting their transition to university life.

SABINA DZHUMALIEVA听

Sabina Dzhumalieva is a senior student of the International and Comparative Politics department. She sees university as a bridge - sometimes wobbly, sometimes wide, always full of possibilities. She believes that the way students will face tests and triumphs, challenges and opportunities, each pushing them toward their goals. Sabina鈥檚 journey at AUCA has had its bumps and bright spots, shaping who she is and how she approaches the world.

As a Peer Advisor, Sabina walks alongside students to celebrate their steps forward, support them when the path feels shaky, and ensure they never feel alone on their academic journey as they cross that bridge - the bridge to the future. Her primary reason for being a peer advisor is to help and guide students through their academic experience. She aims to use the knowledge and experience she has gained at AUCA to support others, help them avoid unnecessary obstacles, and encourage them to grow with confidence.

Saltanat Isaeva is a sophomore student of the Psychology department. She has a strong desire to help freshmen, especially since there were no peer advisors during her first year of study.

Sati Kenchibaeva is a junior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department, majoring in European Studies. She spent a semester studying in Germany, which helped her better understand how to adapt to new academic systems and cultural environments. Sati enjoys volunteering and supporting others, especially students who are just starting their university journey. Having experienced the challenges of the first semesters herself, she wants to help freshmen feel confident, informed, and supported. As a peer advisor, Sati aims to share her experience, guide students through academic questions, and help them feel more comfortable and connected to AUCA.

Savlet Nishanbek kyzy is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. She enjoys taking pictures, playing musical instruments, and participating in social work, as well as leading an active lifestyle. In her first year, she was greatly inspired by how peer advisors supported students, which motivated her to become one herself. As a peer advisor, she wants to focus on live communication and assisting students with questions about double majors, minors, and transfers.

Tynchtykbek Raiymbekov is a junior student majoring in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Social Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking, combining academic studies with his role as a product manager at an IT company. He works on projects that merge technology with social impact, including educational games and a podcast on social innovation. The main reason he became a peer advisor is his desire to help other students cope with academic and personal challenges. He wants to share the skills, strategies, and experiences he has gained as a student to support others in succeeding. Tynchtykbek is especially interested in mentoring and supporting students through one-on-one advising sessions.

As a peer advisor, Valeriya believes that students thrive best when they feel supported and understood. Sharing her own experiences and helping others navigate academic and personal challenges motivates her to contribute to the community. She also finds it very interesting to meet new people with different backgrounds.
