On October 16, 2026, the ºì´½Ö±²¥ (AUCA) hosted an information session with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), led by Gizela Zimmermann, Director of DAAD Central Asia.
The event brought together AUCA students, graduates, faculty, and staff to learn about academic opportunities in Germany and explore possibilities for international cooperation.
The first part of the session focused on individual scholarships and opportunities for study and research in Germany. Ms. Zimmermann provided information on available DAAD programs, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and the documents needed to apply. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice on preparing competitive applications.
The second part featured a roundtable discussion on academic collaboration between AUCA and German higher education institutions. Faculty and staff discussed opportunities for institutional partnerships, joint projects, academic exchanges, and future cooperation.
The session provided valuable insights into the opportunities available through DAAD and highlighted the importance of strengthening academic ties between AUCA and German universities.
AUCA extends its sincere gratitude to Gizela Zimmermann and DAAD Central Asia for sharing their expertise and engaging with the university community.
