DARMARKA & ECO-HALLOWEEN
October 21, 2026

Boo! Halloween is coming! The AUCA campus is already beautifully decorated, and we invite you to celebrate the “spookiest” holiday of the year with us – while having fun and being more eco-friendly!
Bring clothes, books, and other items to exchange at Darmarka (an eco-friendly swap fair), take part in our Eco-Kahoot quiz with prizes, and learn how to make your Halloween celebrations more eco-friendly.
The bravest and most creative among you can also take part in Eco-Halloween wearing a costume, mask, or a spooky accessory handmade from reused or recyclable materials for a chance to win PRIZES!
We have three contest categories:
1) Most eye-catching look
2) Most creative mask
3) Most eco-friendly costume.
Contest tip: Create a costume, accessory, or mask using reused materials. You can use old clothes, paper, newspapers, glass or aluminum cans, plastic, bags, beads, feathers, threads, scarves, and other materials you already have at home. No need to buy anything special! Let your imagination run wild and create an outfit using what you already have!

We also invite everyone who cares about homeless animals, including pet owners, to try a new local transformational card game called “Lucky Me”, developed by the Dobrosfera team with the participation of psychologists. “Dobrospherа” is an international research center and media production company focused on art in the field of sustainable development.
During Darmarka, the Dobrosfera and Green AUCA teams will host two game sessions. We would love to hear your feedback: what did you like, and what could be improved?
In the future, the game is planned to be used in community spaces for activities with children and young people, as well as shared with animal shelters to help them attract funding and other resources to care for animals.
